RED CARD Movement against Bad Governance Launched in Plateau State

The RED CARD Movement, an initiative of Nigerian activist, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili aimed at raising public consciousness against bad governance was today launched in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

The initiative of giving red card to bad governance with emphasis on PDP and APC, Nigeria's leading political parties was first introduced in May 2018.

Pastor Esther Ibanga of the JCMI Ministries, Jos who is the focal person for the North Central Zone today led a rally in major streets in Jos alongside the State coordinator of the movement, Mr. Usigbe Fidelis to officially flag-off the campaign in the State.

The movement aims to raise political awareness on the rights and duties of citizens, create voter education as well as challenge citizens to speak up and demand the right practices from those in government, MKB learns.
